Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 June 2026
This policy explains what information The Atlas Project ("we", "us") collects through the websites at the-atlas-project.net and its product subdomains, and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you submit your email to follow updates or join a waitlist, we store that email address and the product context in which you submitted it.
- Demo input. Interactive "scan" demonstrations on the marketing pages run in your browser. The illustrative demos on these marketing pages do not transmit your input to a server; anything you type stays on your device unless a page explicitly says otherwise.
- Basic technical data. Standard server and security logs (such as IP address and user-agent) may be recorded by our hosting provider to operate and protect the Sites.
How we use it
- To send you the updates you asked for, and to operate, secure, and improve the Sites.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Product accounts
When you sign up for or purchase an individual product, that product collects and processes the data needed to provide its service (for example, a read-only connection you authorise). Each product describes its own data handling at sign-up, and payment information is processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card details.
Cookies and storage
The marketing pages use your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. We keep analytics minimal and privacy-respecting.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any message, and you can request that we delete the email address you provided. To do so, use the contact options on the-atlas-project.net.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
